| Our price's includes 30 days training in the round pen and trails with hay and water twice a day. I do ground work; lunge line and then under saddle at the walk, trot and canter. Or train them in Western pleasure or English jumping. Also bomb proofing! Let us know what you have to start, Or your problem horse! And I will give you a rate. I also give riding lessons to improve or start your riding. |

Hello,
My name is Jessica VanDeventer and I am the owner and trainer here at Horsin
Around Paint & Quarter Horse Ranch in Washington.
I first started training horses when I was around 13 yrs old and never stopped.
Horses are my passion and I truly enjoy taking care of their mostly man made
problems and bad habits; Or start from the ground up and give them a solid
foundation to stand on for the rest of their life as they find new homes and career's
in Showing or 4-H even just a Trail horse.
I have worked on training and breeding ranches for all of my past jobs.
1) I have working with Paints and Quarter horses. Teaching the basics and starting
their training in Western to working with newborn Foals for imprinting and handled
Stallion's and Brood mares during the season and foaling them out.
2) I have worked with Thoroughbreds and Warm bloods and Belgian x.
Starting from the foals to ground training and starting 2-3 yr olds and going up to
training them in English jumping and English flat classes.
3) I have also trained aged grade horses and Mustangs straight from BLM.
Training them out of their aggressive problems and scary issues so that they can
become a kids first horse or a new mount for someone that has had a bad experience
with their other horse; To getting Mustang's to respect humans which they have
never had any contact with and trust us to become great show and family horses with
a life long bond.
4) I have also taken on Troubled and Problem horse from all over.
I have fixed Pulling back when tied or left alone tied and breaking ever rope.
I have fixed Rearing while your in the saddle or on the ground.
I have fixed horse's that try kicking you out of the country ever chance they get, to
coming at you with their front legs too.
I have had scared and damaged horses from neglect or mistreatment. Also
malnourished horses that were never touched.
From being terrified of the saddle being put on their back because it was thrown at
their head to try to teach them to stand still.
Or they won't let you any where near the butt because they have been whipped or
beaten or had a bad experience with a vet or just were never really messed with on
their tail and hind legs.
To horses being head shy, So bad that it takes you an hour to get a bridle or halter
on, or they won't let you touch their ears to check for bugs or clipping.
To the horses that where just never messed with and just sat around in their pasture
until one day their owner's decided to mess with them and can't figure out why the
horse won't let them catch it.
I use gentle firm methods on my own horse's; That I breed and Foal out myself or the
one's I take for a small or nothing price to fix their uncountable problems and turn
them fully around and give them a new and loving family. And the horses I buy to put
into my breeding stock or to use on the Ranch. I treat your horse like my own!
I treat every horse with respect and work through their problems with gentle steady
hands everyday they are here until they come around and understand that I will still
be here no matter how long it takes for them to trust me to put that saddle on their
back or pick up their hind feet for the first time..To just being able to walk up to them
and put a halter on.
I can't guarantee that I can fix every horse. But I try my best on every horse I have
taken and have not sent one back home without their horse turned around yet.
I try to get it all done in 30 days but some horses take more time and I am here for
the horse; And their training progress is all up to them on how soon I can heal the
scares and fade their fears.
